Wind swept Cold harbour Leisure Centre greeted the arrival from the far fields of Hampton the Old Tiffinians Fifth team as they sought out some points to accompany the solitary one gained weeks ago.

With the wind in good ship Tiffinian sails, a two goal start was granted by the struggling Sedcopians through two own goals, as the Tiffs flooded forward and almost making it three a cross shot by Jack Pretlove clutched gratefully by the Sedcopians goalkeeper.

However The Sedcopians would fight back, a scuffed shot deflected then spooned past the Tiffs goalkeeper and a second goal conceded with a shot from distance bobbling over the sparing dive, two was kept from being three with an excellent one on one reaction save to scuff out even more hurt to the Tiffs backline.

Determined to drive forward in the second the Tiffs would be granted a collector’s item half volley by Kevin Bolenge set up by the recently returned Bailey Brown Weston, for Kev’s first of the season sadly before the end the Tiffs were breached again to be denied all three.

A long journey but one to at least toast
