A six pointer at the bottom of AFC South division (If we could get relegated) the battle between the fifth teams of Tiffinian and Sedcopian took place at the Coldharbour leisure centre, a place where the 5th’s were looking to repeat last year’s result in which they picked up their first ever points.

However the early start they hoped for and the early start we saw differed, the Tiffinian’s were two down within 10 minutes, a well finished strike when put through and a gifted spill by the goalkeeper which made it two.

Sedcopians added a third before the half even though the Tiffinians were unlucky not to get on a goal.

The second half started brightly with several spurned chances by the Tiffinians before succumbing to a fourth and what looked like a stroll.

However not finished and undeterred the Tiffinians finally put one past the excellent Sedcopian goalkeeper, goals by Jason Austen and Jonny Edwards followed with the score on 4-3, Nii Allotey would put his second away, a smart twist and a placed shot suddenly made it 4-4….

Could the Tiffinians win this, a second win of the season in two weeks?

No, with a mass press forward gaps opened up and were punished, with the winner a beautiful drilled shot into the bottom corner

The Tiffinians can be proud but sadly no repeat it ended 6-4 to Old Sedcopians
