We played the newly relegated Sinjuns at Grist’s on Saturday 27th September. The Vets team has had a slow start with several of our stalwart players not yet making themselves available or suffering from long term illnesses which include arthritis, gout, loss of bladder control and uncontrollable dribbling. Unfortunately, not the footballing variety.
We were soon 2-0 down and struggling to compete on a fitness level. We created several chances but were then too tired to put the ball into the net. Sinjuns made it 3 on the stroke of half time after some inept defending from a corner.

The second half continued in much the same vein and eventually Ralph was carried off suffering from extreme unfitness. He has vowed to lay off the deep fried Mars bars before next weekend.

Final score Old Tiffs 0 Sinjuns 6.
